LP Innovations Names Loss Prevention Veteran David Johnston to New Position to Drive Specialty Retail Initiative
CANTON, Mass., April 18, 2006 Loss prevention solutions provider LP Innovations announces the appointment of David Johnston to the newly created position of director, business development specialty retail. Johnston is charged with expanding the companies influence and reach with Value Added Resellers (VARs), vendors, and solutions providers in the retail industry. Johnston will leverage his eighteen years of experience providing loss prevention services and products to top retailers to generate new revenue opportunities for LP Innovation's outsourced solutions.

Johnston joins LP Innovations from Ohio-based Datavantage Corporation, where he worked as a product manager for the companies flagship loss prevention software application. He is a recognized industry expert in loss prevention technology, having presented at retail industry events and contributed to industry trade publication editorials.
As director, business development specialty retail, Johnston will seek to improve awareness among specialty retailers and their providers, of the value of LP Innovations full-service loss prevention services. David Johnston received his bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts. He currently resides in Attleboro, Mass. with his wife and two children.
